I am looking for an old style country garden gate. Single gate approx 15 00mm high 1250mm wide. It is to be hinged to a sandstone wall. I am thinking wire mess with wrought iron work decoration. Hi Gregg, I suggest you go through to our main website and view the mesh and scroll gates on the Heritage Style Country Gates page and see if there’s something there that appeals to you. We can insert either the standard 100x150mm mesh in the gates or chain mesh (also known as cyclone wire in some states) or heritage woven wire (also known as Emu wire). As our website is in dire need of a major upgrade we’ve also been posting more recent images on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/farmweld and there are some images of reproduction scroll gates in the timeline as well. You don’t have to be a registered user to view the photos. If you’re not registered, just ignore the “register now” prompts and click on the photo icon under the header image to see our various albums. As an aside, the standard height of gates was traditionally 1200mm to the top frame with some scroll work above that.
